Making the unconscious an ally

Inhabit the World 2024

MODULE 3 · WATER

Saturday 11 May, from 9.30 to 19h
Mas Franch, Sant Feliu de Pallerols (Garrotxa)

The area of the west has to do with the element of water, of the night, of the unconscious.

In this session we will address some ways of access and expression regarding the individual and collective psyche, which, like water, is a good conductor, unlimited and revitalizing, and which, like its patron, Hermes, is ambivalent, creative and multifaceted. Guidelines will also be transmitted to be able to decipher the messages, often in the form of riddles, that reach us from the inner world.

Paying attention to the signals that life sends us in a personalized way makes it easier and allows us to navigate it with more resources. There are daytime signals (synchronicities) and nighttime signals (dreams) and both speak in symbolic language, the only foreign language that everyone should know, in the words of Erich Fromm.

And from the depths of the collective unconscious emerge myths and derivatives (tales, legends). We will discuss myths of the past, present and future, exploring the resonance of this mythical deposit in our biography, the personal myth.

This workshop is designed to combine a theoretical part with practical exercises.
