The inner paths of the earth

The Voice of the Elders

July 18, 19 and 20, 2025
Tavertet (Osona)

Overcoming the duality between self and world is the fundamental exercise of Buddhist practice, and is also the basis for a change in personal and cultural relationship with the Earth and its communities.

Buddhist practice is fundamentally oriented towards getting rid of the individual perspective and realizing the interdependence between all beings.

Ecodharma connects Buddhist teachings ( dharma ) about non-duality with environmental awareness ( eco ) to change our relationship with the Earth. It involves a radical commitment to personal and ecosocial transformation, using mindfulness and compassion as tools.

About the retreat

This July 18, 19 and 20, 2025, we are offering a retreat on Ecodharma with Zen master, David R. Loy .

It is a retreat aimed at all those people, with or without experience in meditation, who seek to open themselves to listening to the Earth as a spiritual teacher .

We will combine outdoor meditation, in groups and alone, with dialogue about inner transformation and ecosocial transformation .

The retreat will take place at Can Feló, in Tavertet, in the house where Raimon Panikkar lived. It is a renovated 18th century farmhouse, with views of the Tavertet cliffs and the Sau reservoir. A quiet and very well-kept place.
